We are looking for a:
MySQL Database Administrator
Levi9 is looking for a talented MySQL Administrators to take ownership of the support and growth of our client’s database infrastructures. Our client has significant (and growing) data volumes and currently employs a combination of Linux, MySQL, Hadoop and Hive technologies. They have terabytes of new data every day and we are constantly seeking new ways to store, analyse and exploit the database so a flexible approach, willingness to learn and love for new challenges is a must.
For our Novi Sad office we are looking for a MySQL Database Administrator with the following skills:
Desired skills & Experience:
Minimum two years of experience in work with Linux operating system
Minimum two years of DBA, system administration experience on projects based on the MySQL RDBMS
Must be familiar with MySQL replication and clustering
MySQL tuning, support and troubleshooting of MySQL databases and performance optimization
Experience in building and managing high-availability MySQL deployments is a plus
Experience with big databases is plus
A demonstrated willingness to challenge existing technical choices and approaches; able to challenge the development team when required
Encourages knowledge sharing and best practice across the technical team
Fluent English
