Senior Android Developer - Frankfurt, Germany - full time
For our client, who is operating in Frankfurt, Germany, we are searching for highly motivated candidates for the following position:
SENIOR ANDROID DEVELOPER
Tasks:
• Development and implementation of our own Hybrid App Framework
• Planing and coding of new features
• Development and implementation of our softare architecture and performance optimization
• Troubleshooting with detailed crash reports
• Implementation of Unit Tests in TDD
• Sophisticated projects with agile approach in collaboration with Product Ownern, Designern, Quality Assurance and DevOps
• continuous process improvement, problemsolving and improvement of apps
• Support on the job training for junior developers (Code review, Pair programming etc.)
Requirements:
• Degree in Computer Science or related field of study or vocational education
• 3+ years experience with Java and Android development
• Clean Code principles and SOLID, DRY, KISS, etc.
• Very good knowledge of Android API (Level 14 +) as well as Google APIs
• Solid knowledge with Git, Eclipse oder IntelliJ/Android Studio
• Good experience with Unit-Test-Frameworks (like JUnit, Roboelectric) and with Build Automation tools (z.B. Jenkins, Gradle, Maven)
• Agile Software development like Test Driven Development with Scrum, Kanban, Pair Programming, Retrospektiven, Collective Code Ownership are not new for you
• Proficiency in English
