Interesting new project!
PSTech is in the process of creating a team that will be involved in development of a new, Cloud Based product, using Big Data technologies. The project is extremely interesting and it is a rare chance for engineers to work with this kind of technology stack! We are looking for creative and committed experts to join us on the following positions:
• Cloud Services Developer - Distributed Computing, Apache Hadoop technologies (HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Flume, Sqoop, Hcatalog, Protobuf, etc.). Experience with robust, recovery-oriented computing platforms.
• Analytics and Query Processing Developer - Knowledge of query engine design and implementation. Experience with query engine aspects of Apache Hadoop technologies (Hive, Impala, Pig, etc.).
• Domain Specific Language Designer and Developer - Familiarity with common compiler and parser technologies: LLVM/Clang, ANLTR, ParserCombinators (ala Scala), etc.
• In-Memory Database Developer - Real-time database technologies (in-memory column stores, fast aggregate computation over multi-dimensional datasets, stream-oriented processing engine design, etc.). Examples include: KX Systems KDB+/q, SAP HANA, Metamarkets Druid, Cloudera Impala, Spark RDD, and Continuum Analytics Anaconda and Blaze.
• Analytic and Machine Learning Algorithms Developer - Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling techniques/Languages (some examples: Apache Mahout, R, MATLAB, Mathematica, Weka, SAS, SPSS, Statistica, Shogun, SciPy/NumPy, etc.) along with Distributed Computing and Analytics (Hadoop MR or Equivalent). Experience developing scalable analytics algorithms for large-scale deployment would be ideal.
