Dear Zoran,
We refer to your e-mail dated 10th of May 2013.
The application has been received by the Norwegian Directorate of Immigration (UDI). The reference number is DUF - 2013 *******. Please quote this number whenever you contact us.
Currently, the estimated case processing time for applications for work permit is approximately 2-3 months. The processing time is reckoned from the date when the application was submitted to the police/embassy or consulate until the UDI has reached a decision. This application was registered on 26.3.2013.
We update our case processing times regularly, and they can therefore change during processing. For some applications, case processing takes longer than we state to be our expected case processing time. You can find more information about expected case processing times for various types of applications by following this link:
www.udi.no/caseprocessingtimes.
The case processing time also includes the time that other agencies spend on the case, for example the police.
Once we have processed the application, we will send the decision to you via the local police district.
Best regards
