netfirms hosting sporo ucitavanje strane, time for first byte, wordpress sajt

za sestrin sajt sam uplatio hosting kod netfirms-a.
Sajt je radjen u wordpress-u.
Problem je sto se stranice sporo otvaraju.
Testirao sam ucitavanje strane sa http://www.webpagetest.org/result/120117_0S_2X35M/1/details/
i dobio da postoji veliko vreme za ucitavanje prvog bajta preko 9 sekundi. Nekad je to bilo i vise od toga, pa sam cak i u google webmaster tools dobio upozorenje da je odziv servera vrlo los.
Pisao sam tehničkoj podrsci u vezi ovog problema i jednom su navodno izbrisali neki cache, pa je bilo malo bolje pa su se posle isti simptomi pojavili ponovo.
Pisao sam im jos nekoliko puta i predlozili su da se testira sa drugog sajta http://internetsupervision.com/scripts/urlcheck/check.aspx.
I tu sam dobijao da je odziv za ucitavanje strane nesto veci od 9 sekundi.
Sa stranice webpagetest.org se moze videti da ja najveci deo vremena odlazi na cekanje na prvi bajt a da se posle stranica otvara dobro.
Na internetu sam nasao da je dobro da postavim neki od online sajtova da proverava server kako bi server drzao podatke sa sajta u memoriji. I postavio sam da pingdom to radi.

Nakon toga sam dobio bolji odziv ali i dalje nije dobar. http://www.webpagetest.org/result/120122_8X_2YTX4/1/details/
Probao sam i sa wp3 total cache plugin-om ali bez rezultata. Za vecinu bitnih opcija stoji da ih server ne podrzava. Pa je ucitavanje cak bilo i sporije nego do sada.

Medjutim kad sam postavljao da se otvara staticka stranica http://www.aphroditebeautysalon.org/sitemap.xml dobijao sam dobra vremena za prvi bajt ispod jedne sekunde.
U netfirmsu izbegavaju da mi daju jasan odgovor po ovom pitanju.
Ima li neko iskustva sa ovim? Da li je ovo normalno ponasanje?
Isti sajt je radio brzo u na virtualnoj masini u lokalu.

Ako treba mogu da postavim prepisku sa netfirmsom.

meni ova sva ova vremena deluju kao velika u odnosu na sajtove koje vidjam po netu.
Mogu li ja tu nesto da uradim,
ovi ih tenničke podrške ne odgovaraju jasno na moja pitanja
ili ne razumeju sta je problem, ili ja to ne mogu da im objasnim, ili ja njih ne razumem

Initialy after your response, eventually I did get a better result once. But, the problem still persist.

Thank you for your answer. I have sent you link (http://www.webpagetest.org/result/120117_0S_2X35M/1/details/) to illustrate the problem I have with my web site www.aphroditebeautysalon.org. On that page you will see that the time for the first byte takes more than 9 seconds (at that particular test). My question would be: would you consider 9 seconds as usual time for the first byte for a wordpress website like mine? I have tried the website you recommended for the test http://internetsupervision.com/scripts/urlcheck/check.aspx and the result time was 9.02-9.59 seconds for page load.
If you think that the results I am getting with this website is about the best what I can get, than I should not waste more time on trying to improve.
I have tried w3 total cache plugin but without results.
I hope you are able to understand my bad English.
