trenutno koristim MS Access mdb kao bazu za jednu ASP.NET aplikaciju.

Radije bih koristio neku embeeded verziju SQL Server-a, ako postoji.

Od opcija je tu i MySQL koji mi ISP omogućava.

Svakako treba da radi "savršeno" sa .net 2.0.

Bolje ti je SQL express edition, dođe ti odmah uz VS ili skini je sa neta, free je.

samo embeeded dolazi u obzir. nikakva instalacija. na mašini gde bi se izvršavala app nemam mogućnost bilo kakve instalacije.

Neces naci nista od Microsoft-a da je embedded osim jet tj. access-a. Imas vistadb i par ali nisu besplatni.

Kao vrlo dobar kandidat je i SQL 2005 Compact:
