Xorg nece da se startuje na Slackware-u

Znaci instalirao sam sad Slackware 10.2. I instalacija je prosla OK, ali kad kucam startx pojavi se (kako da objasnim...) zamucena slika i onda se ili sam restartuje ili se zamrzne i pocnu da mu svijetla CAPS dugmad. Nije mi jasno zasto ovo nece da se startuje, jer mi je X radio normalno na Debianu, Ubuntuu, Slackware-u 9.1 i da ne nabrajam ostale distroe, znaci svuda mi je radio... Ima li neko gotovi xorg.conf ili da mi bar pomogne kako da rijesim ovo? probao sam xorgconfig i xorgsetup ali izgleda da nesto ne stelujem dobro jer opet nece da mi se startuje. Treba li da upalim GLX module? Ma ukratko - pomozite

Pogledaj u log fajlu. Skuca se kernel zbog nekog modula koji pokusavas da ucitas.

Mislim da je u HOME folderu korisnika koji je pokrenuo startx. Probaj da ponovo rekonfigurišeš Xorg. Ako ništa ne radi, proradiće sa vesa drajverima.

Probaj /var/log/Xorg.0.log ili tako nesto...

Tu ti pise zasto se nije startovao i sta je pravilo probleme. Obrati paznju na linije sa "(EE)" na pocetku posto su tako obelezene linije na kojima je opisana greska. Sa "(WW)" su obelezene linije sa upozorenjem.

Najbolje da posaljes taj fajl kao attachment na ovaj forum.

a xorg log nije u korisnickom direktorijumu nego u /var/log.

Probao sam da stavim vesa drivere, onda mi je zamucena slika. Kad stavim VGA ne pojavljuje se nikakva slika :P

Greska koju imas je:

(EE) R128(0): No DFP detected

Negde sam video da bi do toga moglo da dodje ako je malo pogresna konfiguracija X-a. Zato, posalji /etc/X11/Xorg.conf (i ako nadjes druge slicne fajlove u /etc/X11 tipa XF86Config i XF86Config-4).

Takodje bi bilo korisno da napises detaljno svoju konfiguraciju (koja ti je graficka, koji monitor i slicno).

Trece, probaj da iskljucis Composite prosirenje u Xorg.conf. On ume da pravi probleme sa proprietary drajverima za ATI. Doduse cini mi se da ti koristis FS drajvere, tako da to nije slucaj kod tebe, ali u svakom slucaju probaj da iskljucis Composite (videces u xorg.conf opciju za to).

Naravno da nije, ali može pokrenuti grafiku privremeno, a onda natenane ganjati problem (rekao sam, ako drugi drajveri ne prorade). ;)

Rekoh da mi ni vesa ne radi... Cak mi ponekad prikaze dio logonuia sa windowsa i tu naravno zamrzne.. :|

Da li si probao da sa "Xorg -configure" kreiraš novi xorg.conf fajl i da sa tim fajlom pokreneš X server?
Pomenuta komanda će u trenutnom direktorijumu kreirati fajl xorg.conf.new, pa ga kopiraj u /etc/X11/xorg.conf i vidi da li će se pokrenuti?
Ili probaj da iz ovog fajla što si postavio u pretposljednjoj poruci izbaciš sve što nije neophodno:

a ostaviš vesa za drajver.

Evo stavih Debian, ne mogu da se mucim sa ovim vise n'o sto sam..
E ovdje sam probao vga drajver i kaze da ne moze da mi podrzi depth preko 8. Stavim drajver "ati" i sve radi OK. Ali opet neki problem... Pazite ovo:

Nemoj obraćati pažnju na svaku grešku, a zna da ih ispiše mnogo prilikom pokretanja X-a. Ako radi, radi. ;)

Ta greška

se javlja kada X pokreneš kao jedan korisnik, a zatim kao drugi korisnik iz konzole pokušaš da pokreneš neku X aplikaciju.
Problem se rješava tako što X aplikacije ne pokrećeš iz konzole (ili ako ih pokrećeš, pokreni ih kao korisnik koji je pokrenuo X) ili da kao korisnik koji je pokrenuo X najprije otkucaš

a zatim da kao neki drugi korisnik pokrećeš X aplikacije.

Pretpostavljam da je problem do toga.

Da li te aplikacije startaju ako ih pokreneš <Start> -> Run Command... ili tako nešto?
